The most widely used aluminum, 6061 is made into everything from pipe fittings to containers to airplane parts. It balances strength and corrosion resistance, plus it’s easy to machine and weld.
Mirror Like—For the easiest clean, this aluminum has a #8 reflective finish, so it’s free of any grain lines or grooves that could collect dirt. You can quickly detect defects on the mirror-like surface. However, it scratches more easily than brushed aluminum.

Polished Highly Corrosion-Resistant 316 Stainless Steel Rods

More chemical resistant than 304 and polished to a mirror-like finish for decorative applications. These rods are often used in handrails, machinery frames, enclosures, and industrial workstations. They stand up to harsh chemicals, including bleach, chlorine, and phosphoric acid. Use them for washdown, marine, coastal, and chemical-processing applications where 304 may corrode. These rods maintain their corrosion resistance in temperatures up to 1500° F.
316/316L Stainless Steel—Dual certified to meet both 316 and 316L requirements. The low carbon content makes this stainless steel easy to weld while maintaining strength and corrosion resistance.
