    Air-Purifying Respirator Cartridges

    Install these cartridges in your air-purifying respirator to trap harmful gasses and vapors. To prevent leaks, choose a cartridge that matches the manufacturer and series of your respirator. Replace them when breathing becomes difficult.

    Half-Face Respirators

    Upgrade your protection from disposable respirators. These respirators have a rubber mask that creates a tight seal to protect against a variety of contaminants in the air. When you inhale, air is pulled through a cartridge or filter that removes contaminants. Replace cartridges and filters when breathing becomes difficult.
    To achieve the listed filter rating, you’ll need a respirator that creates a tight seal with your face—any gaps may let in contaminants. Choose a respirator that matches the style you have been fitted for.

    Inhalation—Inhalation valves open when you breathe in, letting air flow in through your mask’s filter or cartridge.
