Heavy Duty Air-Powered Narrow-Belt Sanders
Often used to blend welds and deburr metal, these sanders have a steel housing and rugged design that handles tough jobs without slowing down. The narrow belt fits in tight spaces and hard-to-reach areas. Their high air consumption can make the steel housing cold, but a layer of rubber insulation shields your hands and also reduces vibration. The variable-speed motor lets you set the speed for any task, from heavy material removal to delicate surface sanding. These sanders have adjustable belt tracking that lets you maintain proper belt tension. Sanding belts are not included.
Sanders with a contact wheel remove hard metal and dense wood. They have the most horsepower of our narrow-belt sanders, so they’re a good choice for faster material removal. A side handle helps you maintain control while working with their high horsepower.
Sanders with a pivoting arm adjust to your desired angle—the arm rotates 360°.
You can change the contact arm on your sander to sand different types of surfaces.

Air-Powered Narrow-Belt Sanders for Curved Surfaces
Make more contact with curved surfaces for a more consistent finish than you’d get with a standard sander. These belt sanders flex 180° around pipe, tubing, and handrails. They create such a consistent surface they're often used with fine grit sanding belts to finish stainless steel pipe to a smoothness that's required for cleaning in food and pharmaceutical applications. These sanders have an adjustable handle, so you always have a steady grip for good control. They will not work on concave surfaces, such as the inside of a pipe. Sanding belts are sold separately.

Cordless Narrow-Belt Sanders
When you can’t access an outlet or air compressor, these battery-powered sanders tackle quick sanding jobs. Often used for smoothing spot welds, the narrow belt squeezes into corners, grooves, and other tight areas. Turn the speed dial with your thumb as you sand to adjust how much material you’re removing. These sanders have brushless motors, which means fewer parts, less friction, and slower wear compared to brushed motors. The LED light illuminates your surface as you work. All require sanding belts.
Milwaukee sanders have an arm that pivots 360°, so you can easily maneuver these sanders in awkward spaces.
Makita sanders are compatible with additional contact arms (sold separately) that change the size of the belt the sander works with. Product regulations restrict sales to the listed areas.
Sanders with a dust extraction port connect to a vacuum system to suck up debris and keep your workspace and the surrounding air clean. Removing dust and debris also prevents clogs that reduce the life of your sanding abrasives. You’ll need a dust collection hose adapter (sold separately) to connect the port to a vacuum system.
