    Stacking Configurations

The strongest disc springs we offer for maintaining tension and separating components on shafts, under bolt heads, and at the end of valves. Unlike spring lock washers, they return to their original height again and again when decompressed. Also known as Belleville disc springs.
To increase working load or deflection, stack multiple springs. A nested stack increases working load; an inverted stack increases deflection. In a nested and inverted stack, both load and deflection increase. Multiply the original working load or deflection (depending on your configuration) by the number of springs to find your new total.
Highly Corrosion-Resistant Extreme-Temperature Nickel—Even after long-term exposure to extreme temperatures, from -400° to 1100° F, these 718 nickel springs stay strong and corrosion resistant. They won't break down from harsh chemicals or salt water. 718 nickel is also known as Inconel.

    Split Lock Washers

Image of Product. Front orientation. Lock Washers. Split-Lock Washer.
Stop nuts and screws from loosening due to mild vibration. As you tighten, the uneven ends bite into the nut or screw so it won't back out. While they're not as vibration resistant as other lock washers, they are a great fit for electrical panels, light fixtures, and other light duty assemblies. Split lock washers are not reusable, and they only work with fasteners that have right-hand threads.
High-Strength Highly Corrosion-Resistant K500 Nickel—More than three times as strong as 316 stainless steel, and with superior rust resistance to withstand prolonged exposure to salt water and acids. These washers are often used in the oil and gas industries. Also known as Monel.
