Hardened Ultra-Strength 718 Nickel Rods

- Yield Strength: 150,000 psi
- Hardness: Rockwell C36 (Hard)
- Temper Rating: Hardened
- Fabrication: Cold Worked
- Specifications Met: ASTM B637, SAE AMS5663
The strongest nickel rods we sell, hardening makes these ultra-strong 718 rods stronger. They’re tough enough to stand up to harsh chemicals and acids at extreme temperatures, so they’re often used for cryogenic tanks and fasteners. An upgrade from stainless steel, this material is comparable to Inconel 718.
