About Sanding Abrasives

When you need to achieve a more consistent finish, choose nylon mesh sanding rolls over paper- or cloth-backed rolls. The mesh flexes to compensate for uneven pressure as you sand. It's embedded with aluminum oxide, the most common abrasive, which is hard enough to sand steel and wood. These rolls can be cut to length.

Heavy Duty—Aggressive deburring and rust removal.

Blending—Aggressive cleaning and blending.

Long Life—Cleaning.

All Purpose—Light cleaning and finishing.

It's embedded with silicon carbide, one of the sharpest abrasive materials. Silicon carbide cuts through soft metals and nonmetals like aluminum and rubber with ease, and it generates minimal heat to prevent material buildup. These rolls can be cut to length.

Blending—Aggressive cleaning and blending.

All Purpose—General cleaning.

Clean/Finish—Light cleaning and finishing.
