Float Valve Bodies for Drinking Water

Safe for use in drinking water systems, these float valve bodies meet NSF/ANSI 61 standards. Combine them with rods and floats to create custom float valves. They’re made of PVC, so they’re a lightweight alternative to metal valve bodies. With a nonrotating plunger, they maintain a tight seal even in turbulent water, such as in mixing tanks and tanks with boiling water.

Commonly used in ice-making machines, these valves have floats that rest inside a clear plastic reservoir. They meet NSF/ANSI 169 standards for food equipment components. Polypropylene floats are FDA compliant for direct food contact. The discharge outlet is unthreaded and releases contents into your tank. The drain holes are located on the bottom for connecting to soft tubing (not included).
