Occupied/Vacant Deadbolt Door Locks

Often used on restroom doors, a message on the outside of the door changes when the lock is engaged or disengaged. Locks open with a turnpiece inside and an emergency access tool outside.
Select a lock with the correct backset distance (the distance from the door’s edge to the center of the lock's mounting hole) for your door. Latch bolt projection is the length the latch bolt extends from the door's edge.
For technical drawings and 3-D models, click on a part number.

Security and Admittance Signs
Mark entrances, employee-only work areas, and no-trespassing zones. Maximum occupancy signs show the maximum number of people that are allowed in your facility to help prevent overcrowding and the spread of illness. Enter your facility’s occupancy number in the blank space using a permanent marker, erasable marker, or adhesive-back characters (sold separately). Choosing an erasable marker or adhesive-back characters will allow you to update the signs as necessary.
Select polystyrene signs for indoor or short-term outdoor use. They resist scratches from impact and abrasion, and won’t deteriorate from chemical splashes. Aluminum signs are the best choice for long-lasting outdoor use. More durable than polystyrene signs, they won’t corrode if exposed to water, chemical splashes, or harsh weather. They’re also UV resistant, so they won’t fade in sunlight.
Signs that meet OSHA 29 CFR 1910.145 follow color and text standards for sharing information that is important, but not hazard-related.
