Half-Mortise Entry Door Hinges
Only one cutout (mortise) is needed to mount these hinges—the offset design allows surface mounting the door leaf and mortise mounting the frame leaf. These hinges are often used when it is difficult to mortise the frame, such as when hanging a hollow door on a solid frame. All hinges have mounting holes that form an industry-standard half-moon shape. Use them on doors without a door closer.
Chrome-plated low-carbon steel hinges have better corrosion resistance than primed low-carbon steel.

Bearings allow these hinges to open and close doors smoothly. Only one cutout (mortise) is needed to mount them—the offset design allows surface mounting the door leaf and mortise mounting the frame leaf. These hinges are often used when it is difficult to mortise the frame, such as when hanging a hollow door on a solid frame. When the door is closed, the distance between the leaves is larger than the pin diameter, creating an offset to accommodate a gasket or trim. Longer than other hinges, piano hinges run the entire length of doors and lids for strength and durability.
304 stainless steel hinges are more corrosion resistant than low-carbon steel. They also have good chemical resistance.

These hinges have wide hinge leaves that provide a large mounting surface to keep freezer and refrigerator doors from sagging. Offset-leaf style hinges can accommodate a door seal. Offset is the space between the door face and the frame when the door is closed. Styles 3 and 4 capacity is based on two hinges per door.
Chrome-plated zinc hinges have better corrosion resistance than painted zinc.

Lift-Off Freezer Door Strap Hinges
The hinge pin attaches to the frame leaf so you can quickly lift the door off the hinge without removing the pin. These hinges have wide hinge leaves that provide a large mounting surface to keep freezer and refrigerator doors from sagging. All are self-lubricating for smooth operation. They can be mounted on the left or right side of the door. To switch from left- to right-hand orientation, remove the pin from the frame leaf and turn the leaf 180°, then reinsert the pin. The pin is secured with a cap. Capacity is based on two hinges per door.

Aluminum Slip-On Framing and Fittings
