Metering Valves for Oil-Dispensing Pumps
Use these valves with manual and electric pumps to dispense different amounts of oil from multiple lubrication points. They have a check valve to prevent backward flow. To connect to tubing, use a compression nut and sleeve (sold separately).
Flow rate trade number indicates the relative amount of oil each valve delivers. For each increase in trade size, the amount of oil delivered approximately doubles. For example, 0 delivers twice the amount of oil that 00 delivers. In a system with two lubrication points, the lubrication point connected to 0 will receive 2/3 of the oil dispensed, and the lubrication point connected to 00 will receive 1/3 of the oil dispensed. In general, valves with lower relative flow rates are better for cycling systems; valves with higher relative flow rates are better for continuous recirculation systems.

Metering Container-Mount Oil Dispensers
Equipped with a flowmeter/totalizer, this dispenser displays both flow rate and cumulative flow volume of the oil dispensed. Mount it to your drum of oil. It's smaller and more portable than air-powered container-mount dispensers, making it good for refilling gear boxes and transmissions. The container is not included.

Flow-Adjustment Inline Hydraulic Valves
Turn the dial to gradually adjust the amount of flow. Five colored rings on the valve stem represent different flow rates. Adjust the dial until you see the color of the flow rate you need.
One-way with unrestricted reverse valves regulate flow in one direction while allowing oil to flow freely in the opposite direction. Two-way valves regulate flow in either direction.
Brass valves have better corrosion resistance than steel valves.
NPTF (Dryseal) threads are compatible with NPT threads. UN/UNF (SAE Straight) thread connections have straight threads and are also known as O-ring Boss fittings.

Set your flow rate and then adjust it as necessary; these valves maintain flow rate despite pressure changes in the system. Five colored rings on the valve stem represent different flow rates. Adjust the dial until you see the color of the flow rate you need.
One-way valves regulate flow in one direction. They are not recommended for systems that may have reverse flow. One-way with unrestricted reverse valves regulate flow in one direction while allowing fluid to flow freely in the opposite direction.
