Tapping and Threading Lubricants
Use these lubricants for easier and faster tapping, cutting, and threading of hard and thick material. They reduce friction between your cutting tool and workpiece to make cutting cycles faster and easier, improve surface finishes, and extend tool life. Use at full strength.
Lubricants with sulfur and lubricants with chlorine handle high pressure.
Tap Magic ProTap won’t change the appearance of soft metal, such as aluminum. It is chlorine free, for use where chlorine waste disposal is a concern, and sulfur free. Use Tap Magic Xtra Thick when making deep cuts in hard metal, such as stainless steel and titanium—it clings to tool surfaces and stays in place at high speeds. It is chlorine free, for use where chlorine waste disposal is a concern, and sulfur free.
Lubricants that cannot be sold to the regions listed exceed local regulatory limits on VOCs (volatile organic compounds).
