Compact Threaded On/Off Valves for Chemicals
For chemical-processing applications in confined areas, these valves have a low-profile handle to fit in tight spots. A rubber seal and a plastic body stand up to aggressive, corrosive solutions.
Polypropylene valves are the most chemical resistant. They handle a wide range of acids, solvents, and other harsh substances.
Full-port valves do not restrict flow. Standard-port valves slightly restrict flow.
Flow coefficient (Cv) is the amount of water (in gallons per minute) at 60° F that will flow through a fully open valve with a difference of 1 psi between the inlet and the outlet.

To withstand aggressive and corrosive solutions in miniature chemical-processing pipelines, these tiny valves have a chemical-resistant fluoroelastomer seal and a corrosion-resistant 303 stainless steel body. They are standard port, so they slightly restrict flow.
Flow coefficient (Cv) is the amount of water (in gallons per minute) at 60° F that will flow through a fully open valve with a difference of 1 psi between the inlet and the outlet.

Ultra-Chemical-Resistant Threaded On/Off Valves

The most chemical-resistant threaded valves we offer, these have a PTFE seal and an alloy body that can withstand extremely aggressive and corrosive chemicals, such as methyl ethyl ketone and toluene. They are standard port, so they slightly restrict flow.
Monel valves are more corrosion resistant than Alloy 20 valves.

No need to remove these valves from your line to access their internal components—the three-piece bolted body comes apart. Ideal in chemical-processing applications, the seal and polypropylene body stand up to aggressive and corrosive solutions.
Valves with a lever handle give you more leverage than valves with T-handles, so you can quickly open and close them with ease. To limit access to your line, replace the handle with a locking handle (sold separately). Fix the handle in place using a padlock (not included) with a shackle diameter up to 19/64". Valves with a T-handle are more compact than valves with a lever handle, so they fit in tighter spots. They also resist accidental movement when snagged or bumped.
Valves with a cam-and-groove male plug quickly connect and disconnect medium- to large-diameter hose lines. Insert the plug end into a cam-and-groove female socket.
Valves with a fluoroelastomer seal fit snug even when surfaces are irregular, misaligned, or dirty. The seal compresses and conforms to create a tight, leakproof connection. Pick valves with a PTFE seal if you frequently need to open and close valves. The seal is slippery to reduce friction and prevent wear.
Full-port valves do not restrict flow. Standard-port valves slightly restrict flow.

For applications sensitive to contamination, these valves stop flow without contacting the process media by pressing down on the outside of tubing. They operate on electricity to automatically start and stop flow.
These valves are normally closed unless actuated. They don’t require a minimum pressure drop between the inlet and outlet for operation. The actuator is directly mounted to the valve body to minimize movement and reduce wear.

Also known as diaphragm valves, these have a PTFE body and seals that stand up to harsh acidic solutions. The diaphragm can handle dirty liquid, slurries, and abrasive media without damage. All valves operate on compressed air to automatically start and stop flow. You must control the air to the actuator using either an electric pilot valve (not included) or a manual on/off valve (not included). These valves don’t require a minimum pressure drop between the inlet and outlet for operation.
All have a single-acting actuator that only requires air pressure to open the valve; they automatically spring closed when the air turns off. The actuator is directly mounted to the valve body to minimize movement and reduce wear. Valves are normally closed unless actuated.
Flow coefficient (Cv) is the amount of water (in gallons per minute) at 60° F that will flow through a fully open valve with a difference of 1 psi between the inlet and the outlet.

Easy-Maintenance Threaded Diverting Valves for Chemicals
- Valve Type: Ball
- For Use With: Carbon Dioxide, Citric Acid, Deionized Water, Ethanol, Ethylene Glycol, Hydrochloric Acid, Isopropyl Alcohol, Methanol, Methyl Ethyl Ketone, Phosphoric Acid, Salt Water, Sodium Hydroxide, Water
- Ball Material: Polypropylene Plastic
- Seal Material: Fluoroelastomer Rubber
- Seat Material: PTFE Plastic
Perform valve maintenance without unthreading pipe connections. These valves have a three-piece bolted body that comes apart for inline access to internal components. The fluoroelastomer seal and glass-filled polypropylene body can withstand aggressive and corrosive solutions for diverting flow between ports in chemical-processing applications. Valves are full port, so they do not restrict flow.
Valves with a bottom-port inlet direct flow to either side port or shut off flow completely.
T-handles resist accidental movement when snagged or bumped.

Easy-to-Install Plastic Threaded Flow-Adjustment Valves

- Valve Type: Ball
- For Use With: Ammonia, Butane, Citric Acid, Hydrochloric Acid, Methanol, Nitric Acid, Phosphoric Acid, Salt Water, Sodium Hydroxide, Water
- Seal Material: EPDM Rubber
A threaded union on these valves makes them easy to install and remove without disrupting your line. They’re a good choice for lines that require frequent maintenance or cleaning. They thread together or apart with only a turn to the union fitting, unlike other threaded flow-adjustment valves that require repositioning your pipe or valve. The union fitting slides over your pipe, and the threaded fitting sits inside. Ideal for metering, sampling, and other applications, these valves gradually open and close to adjust flow as you turn the handle. A dial displays the percentage you’ve opened them. With a standard port, they’ll slightly restrict flow even when fully open. These valves come with socket-connect fittings for making threaded-to-threaded connections or adapting threaded to socket connections.

Breakaway Hose Couplings for Chemicals and Petroleum

Minimize chemical and petroleum spills during accidental disconnects, such as a driver pulling away during loading. These couplings have a shut-off valve on each half to stop flow when they’re separated. Attach one end to your hose and the other to a supply pipe or a second hose.
316 stainless steel couplings have excellent corrosion resistance.
2 NPT and 3 NPT couplings have bolts designed to break before your hose does. They can be repaired with replacement bolt kits and replacement seal kits (both sold separately).

Minimal-Spill Push-and-Turn Hose Couplings for Chemicals

Quickly connect and disconnect hose lines used with a variety of chemicals, from adhesives to isopropyl alcohol and ink. Any part of these couplings that contacts fluid is made from 316 stainless steel, C-276 Hastelloy, PTFE, or fluoroelastomer to withstand the chemicals in your line. Tough enough to handle frequent use, these couplings are designed to be virtually spill free. Also known as dry disconnects and double-shut off couplings, both the plug and the socket have a shut-off valve that stops the flow of liquids when they’re separated. To connect, push the plug into the socket and lock with a quarter turn. The socket swivels, so you won’t have to twist your hose to attach the plug. It also has a rubber lip and large handles to prevent damage if it’s dropped.
A complete coupling consists of a plug and a socket (both sold separately). They’re compatible with MannTek, Avery Hardoll, Todo-matic, and other dry-disconnect couplings that meet NATO standard STANAG 3756.
316 stainless steel couplings have excellent corrosion resistance.
