Mitutoyo Electronic Outside Micrometers
These micrometers have a zero-set button which allows you to start measuring at any point. All have a thimble with a constant-force mechanism, so that once the micrometer’s spindle contacts the surface of the measured object, it will stop tightening. This ensures repeatable measurements and prevents over-tightening.
Ratchet-stop thimbles have a speeder knob to reduce the time it takes to open and close the micrometer. When the spindle stops tightening, the thimble stops turning, but the speeder knob will continue turning with a clicking sound.
Nonrotating spindles won’t scratch delicate work surfaces or distort thin, pliable material while measuring.
Micrometers with zero-position memory, also called absolute (ABS) positioning, hold their position after the micrometer is turned off.
USB data cable (sold separately) connects micrometers with SPC data output directly to your PC to transmit measurement data.
10-pin data cables (sold separately) connect micrometers with SPC data output to a Mitutoyo miniprocessor or multiplexer.
Wireless data transmitter and receiver (sold separately) let you send measurement data from your micrometer to your PC without a cable.

Mitutoyo Electronic Outside Micrometers with Calibration Certificate
These micrometers come with a calibration certificate traceable to NIST that states they've passed a test for accuracy. A zero-set button allows you to start measuring at any point. This ensures repeatable measurements and prevents over-tightening.
