    Build-Your-Own Manual Motor Starters

Assemble your own motor starter by combining a switch and a thermal overload element.
Thermal overload elements shut motors off if current exceeds the full-load current rating. Three elements are required. To Order: Please specify the full-load current rating of your motor. If the full-load current rating is not shown on the motor’s faceplate, estimate the current rating (given the motor’s power and voltage).

    Energy-Saving Motor Starters

Save electricity and extend motor life by reducing the motor's starting current. These starters gradually start and stop motors. Use them on motors where torque varies, such as pumps, compressors, and conveyors. All have an auxiliary contact to send a signal or connect to another device, such as an alarm or indicating light.

    Motor Starter Overload Protectors

Upgrade motor starters that use thermal overload protection with these solid-state overloads—they don't use heating elements, so enclosure ventilation and cooling is not required. All have a full-load amp adjustment dial to accommodate circuits with different full-load amp ratings.
If the full-load amp rating is not shown on your motor’s faceplate, estimate the current rating (given the motor’s horsepower and voltage).
