Heat-Dissipating Abrasion- and Chemical-Resistant Packing Seals

Made of ePTFE with a graphite filler and reinforced by Aramid, these seals combine heat protection with chemical and abrasion resistance. Often used in pumps, their base material is ePTFE, so they’ll stand up to chemicals such as acids, alkalies, brines, and solvents. The added graphite filler dissipates heat away from shafts, preventing your pump from overheating even at high speeds. To extend their life, the corners of these seals are reinforced with Aramid, which resists abrasion and prevents extrusion. Cut them to size with a knife and then pack them into place.
