High-Security Padlocks

Protect your most valuable items with our most secure padlocks. From top-to-bottom and inside-out, these padlocks were designed and tested to stand up to different kinds of break-in methods. They’re certified EN 12320 to prevent access from lockpicking, drilling, cutting, prying, and hammering. If someone tries drilling the lock, a free-spinning plate within the key cylinder spins continuously to prevent the drill from penetrating the cylinder. The shackle locks at both ends to keep it from being forced open, and it’s made of boron carbide—the hardest and most cut-resistant shackle material available. Hardened for strength, the steel body resists breaking if struck. For extra security, these padlocks are keyed differently, meaning the same key can’t be used with multiple locks.
EN 12320 designates levels of security for padlocks on a scale of 1 to 6. Grade 5 means these padlocks were tested against powerful blows, cutting, drilling, pulling, and twisting.

Cut-Resistant Padlocks

Difficult to cut and pry open, the shackles on these padlocks are protected by shoulders. Choose these padlocks if you need locks that each open with a different key. They have random key numbers.
Padlocks with chrome-plated steel bodies have added strength and an extra layer of protection against corrosion. Padlocks with hardened steel bodies are strong and withstand physical attacks better than padlocks with steel bodies. They also provide better corrosion resistance. Designated EN12320 Grade 4, they were tested against powerful blows, cutting, drilling, pulling, and twisting. Their shackles are boron carbide, the hardest and most cut-resistant shackle material.Padlocks with tumbler discs are difficult to pick. Padlocks with bump-resistant cylinders are the most tamper resistant—they have a tapered top pin that stays put to prevent unlocking when a tool is tapped into the lock.

High-Security Weather-Resistant Padlocks

Keyhole

Lock outdoor storage containers, perimeter gates, and valuable equipment with peace of mind. The chrome-plated body on these padlocks resists corrosion from rain and snow. Rated UL 437 or EN 12320, they’ve passed a test to fend off break-ins from lockpicking, hammering, cutting, and more, making them some of the most secure padlocks we offer. If someone tries drilling them, an internal plate blocks the drill bit from penetrating the cylinder. Both ends of the shackle lock inside the body to make it difficult to force them open from prying or shimming. For extra security, these padlocks are keyed differently, so the same key can’t be used with multiple locks.
Brass-body locks have excellent corrosion resistance, but they’re not as strong as steel-body locks. Hardened steel-body locks are strong, and they’re less likely to deform from break-in attempts than brass-body locks. To keep the locking mechanism from freezing, corroding, or jamming from water and debris, they come with a tethered metal cap to cover the key cylinder.
Hardened boron alloy shackles are made of the hardest and most cut-resistant shackle material. They resist corrosion better than hardened steel shackles.
EN 12320 designates levels of security for padlocks on a scale of 1 to 6. The higher the rating, the harder it is and the longer it takes to break into or damage the padlock. Padlocks are tested against attacks such as powerful blows, cutting, drilling, pulling, and twisting.

High-Security Weather-Resistant Extra-Clearance Padlocks
Tested to withstand the toughest break-in methods, these padlocks keep storage containers, gates, and other outdoor equipment safe when you aren’t around. They fit around oversized hasps or large chains thanks to their extra-long shackle. They’re rated UL 437 or EN 12320 to prevent access from lockpicking, hammering, cutting, and more. An internal plate blocks drill bits from penetrating the cylinder. They’re made from materials that resist corrosion caused by rain and snow. Choose keyed differently locks if you need locks that each open with a different key.
Padlocks with a dual-locking shackle prevent attempts to break them open from prying, shimming, or tapping because both ends of the shackle lock inside the body.
Brass-body locks resist corrosion better than stainless steel-body and hardened steel-body locks. Hardened-steel-body locks are stronger than brass-body and stainless steel-body locks. Locks with a chrome-plated body have added strength and an extra layer of protection against corrosion.
Chrome-plated boron carbide shackles are the hardest and most cut-resistant shackle material. They’re plated for added strength and an extra layer of protection against corrosion.
Padlocks with a keyhole cover keep out water and debris to protect the cylinder from freezing, corroding, and jamming. They have a tethered cap for an extra-tight seal.
Disc-tumbler key locking mechanisms are harder to pick than basic warded locking mechanisms.

Keyhole
Cover

Tall, tough, and tricky to tamper with, these padlocks not only have an extra-long shackle, but they've been tested to stand up against the harshest break-in methods. They’re rated UL 437 or EN 12320 to prevent access from lockpicking, cutting, prying, hammering, and more. An internal plate even blocks drill bits from penetrating the cylinder. Made from materials that resist corrosion from rain and snow, they’ll work smoothly when exposed to the elements. Choose them if you need several locks that open with the same key.
Locks with a dual-locking shackle prevent attempts to force them open from prying or shimming. Both ends of the shackle lock inside the padlock body.
Chrome-plated brass-body locks have excellent corrosion resistance, but they’re not as strong as stainless-steel-body locks. Chrome-plated hardened-steel-body locks are strong, and they’re less likely to deform from break-in attempts than stainless-steel-body locks and brass-body locks.
Hardened steel shackles are stronger than stainless steel shackles. Those that are chrome plated have an added layer of protection and strength.
Locks with a keyhole cover come with a tethered metal cap to keep water and debris out of the locking mechanism. This helps keep it from freezing, corroding, or jamming.
EN 12320 designates levels of security for padlocks on a scale of 1 to 6. The higher the rating, the harder it is and the longer it takes to break into or damage the padlock. Padlocks are tested against attacks such as powerful blows, cutting, drilling, pulling, and twisting.

Key-Controlled Combination Padlocks

Open the shackle with a control key or the combination. Share the combination to give multiple users access without their own key. Control keys are sold separately. The shackle is hardened steel, which is strong and stands up to being dropped, tugged, or cut.
Hardened steel lock bodies are strong and hold up better against attempts to force them open than stainless steel lock bodies.

Extra-Clearance Removable Shackle Padlocks

Like a bike lock, these padlocks have a tall and wide shackle that separates from the body, making them easy to fit around and remove from large objects. They have the most shackle clearance of any padlocks we offer. Unlike most padlocks, you won’t need chains or cables to secure long or bulky items, such as pallet jack handles. Each of these padlocks opens with a different key, and all have random key numbers.
Locks with a hardened steel body are stronger than those with a plain steel body.

Enclosed-Shackle Padlocks

Keep your shackle hidden to thwart break-in attempts. Also known as hockey puck locks, these padlocks have a fully enclosed shackle on the back for greater security than standard padlocks. Designed to resist bolt cutting and prying, they’re often used on transport vans to prevent theft. Choose these locks if you need locks that each open with a different key. All locks have random key numbers.
For a complete locking system, you'll need a padlock and hasps.
Padlocks with hasps ensure you’ll never misplace the lock body after unlocking your doors. Their key cylinder is located on the front rather than the side like other enclosed-shackle padlocks, which makes opening and closing the lock more convenient. A metal keyhole cover keeps out water and debris to protect the key cylinder from freezing, corroding, or jamming.
Steel padlocks are stronger than stainless steel padlocks and are zinc or chrome plated for added strength and corrosion resistance. Powder-coated steel padlocks have an additional layer of protection against corrosion.
