Extra-Clearance Padlocks
With over 1" of vertical shackle clearance, these padlocks give you extra room to secure thick chains and items with large hasps. Each lock opens with a different key, and all have random key numbers.
Chrome-plated steel-body locks have an added layer that protects them from corrosion and makes them stronger than plain steel-body locks.
Hardened steel shackles are tougher to cut or pry than steel shackles.
Locks with a pin-tumbler key locking mechanism are harder to pick than locks with a disc-tumbler key locking mechanism. The more pins a lock has, the harder it is to pick. Those with a bump-resistant cylinder are the most tamper resistant—they have a tapered top pin that stays put to prevent unlocking when a tool is tapped into the lock.

Extra-Clearance Keyed Alike Padlocks
To fit around large hasps and thick chains, these padlocks have over 1" of vertical shackle clearance. Multiple locks open with the same key. If the lock or key with the key number you want isn’t listed, order the "Other Key Numbers" and specify your desired key number.

Extra-Clearance Master Keyed Padlocks
Vertical shackle clearance is greater than 1”. Choose these locks if you want individual locks or groups of locks that open with their own key, but also open with a master key. The included keys have random key numbers; master keys are sold separately.
Steel-body locks have a pin-tumbler key locking mechanism, which is harder to pick than the disc-tumbler key locking mechanism on the zinc-body lock. Steel-body locks with five pins are harder to pick than locks with four pins.
Hardened steel shackles are stronger than steel shackles.
