Extra-Clearance Padlocks

With over 1" of vertical shackle clearance, these padlocks give you extra room to secure thick chains and items with large hasps. Each lock opens with a different key, and all have random key numbers.
Aluminum-body locks balance strength and corrosion resistance. They’re stronger than zinc-body locks but not as strong as steel-body locks, and they’re more corrosion resistant than both.
Hardened steel shackles are tougher to cut or pry than steel shackles. Those that are copper-nickel-chrome plated have an added layer of corrosion resistance and strength.
Locks with a dual-locking shackle prevent attempts to force them open from prying, shimming, or tapping because both ends of the shackle lock inside the padlock body.
Locks with a pin-tumbler key locking mechanism are harder to pick than locks with a disc-tumbler key locking mechanism. The more pins a lock has, the harder it is to pick.

Extra-Clearance Choose-a-Color Lockout Padlocks

With a tall shackle and a palette of colors to pick from, these locks are easy to spot around large hasps or thick chains. Assign a color to individuals or departments and use them with lockout devices to prevent people from using equipment during maintenance or repair. This helps you comply with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147 safety procedures.
All have a pin-tumbler key locking mechanism, which is the most difficult locking mechanism to pick. The more pins a lock has, the harder it is to pick. Each opens with a different key, and all have random key numbers.
Style B locks have an aluminum body that resists corrosion better than locks with a steel body, but it’s not as strong. A plated shackle also makes them more reliable in harsh environments. Those with a copper-nickel-chrome-plated hardened steel shackle are plated with multiple layers to stand up to corrosion better than shackles with a single layer of chrome plating.
Locks with a dual-locking shackle prevent attempts to force them open from prying, shimming, or tapping because both ends of the shackle lock inside the body.

Extra-Clearance Choose-a-Color Keyed Alike Lockout Padlocks

With an extra-long shackle, these padlocks can secure equipment locked out by oversized hasps, chains, and other devices. They come in a variety of eye-catching colors. To help you follow lockout identification practices, you can assign colors to individuals or functions. For example, use blue for plumbing and red for electrical. Use these padlocks with a lockout device to comply with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147 standards for safe lockouts.
They have a pin-tumbler key locking mechanism—the hardest type to pick. Choose these padlocks if you need several locks that open with the same key. If the lock or key with the key number you want isn’t listed, order the "Other Key Numbers" and specify your desired key number.
Aluminum-body padlocks resist corrosion better than steel-body locks.
Padlocks with a dual-locking shackle prevent attempts to break them open from prying, shimming, or tapping because both ends of the shackle lock inside the padlock body.
