Weather- and Cut-Resistant Padlocks

The partially concealed shackle on these padlocks means more security for your outdoor equipment and gates than a traditional padlock. Since most of the shackle is covered, it's difficult to access and cut. For durability outdoors, they’re made from materials that resist corrosion from rain and snow.
These padlocks have a pin-tumbler key locking mechanism, which is the most difficult locking mechanism to pick. The more pins the lock has, the harder it is to force open. Choose these padlocks if you need locks that each open with a different key. All have random key numbers.
Style B padlocks have a key cylinder located on the side of the lock, so it’s easy to unlock when the body is tucked between surfaces.
Brass-body locks resist corrosion better than both steel-body locks and stainless-steel-body locks. Hardened steel shackles are stronger than stainless steel shackles.

Weather- and Cut-Resistant Keyed Alike Padlocks

Lock gates and outdoor equipment without worrying about the shackle being cut. These padlocks have raised shoulders that cover most of the shackle, making it difficult to access. Made from materials that resist corrosion from rain and snow, they’ll operate smoothly even when exposed to the elements. Choose them if you need several locks that open with the same key. If the lock or key with the key number you want isn’t listed, order the "Other Key Numbers" and specify your desired key number.
All have a pin-tumbler key locking mechanism, which is harder to pick than padlocks with a disc-tumbler key locking mechanism. The more pins a lock has, the harder it is to pick.

Brass-body padlocks have excellent corrosion resistance, but they’re not as strong as stainless-steel-body padlocks.
Hardened steel shackles are stronger than stainless steel shackles, but they don’t stand up as well to corrosion.
