Padlocks

Choose these locks if you need locks that each open with a different key. All locks have random key numbers.
Locks with a dual-locking shackle prevent attempts to force them open from prying, shimming, or tapping because both ends of the shackle lock inside the padlock body.
Aluminum-body locks are stronger and more corrosion resistant than zinc-body locks. They also resist corrosion better than steel-body locks, but they’re not as strong.
Hardened steel shackles are stronger than steel shackles. Those that are copper-nickel-chrome plated have an added layer of corrosion resistance and strength. Pin-tumbler key locking mechanisms are the most difficult to pick. The more pins a lock has, the harder it is to pick.

Extra-Clearance Padlocks

With over 1" of vertical shackle clearance, these padlocks give you extra room to secure thick chains and items with large hasps. Each lock opens with a different key, and all have random key numbers.
Aluminum-body locks balance strength and corrosion resistance. They’re stronger than zinc-body locks but not as strong as steel-body locks, and they’re more corrosion resistant than both.
Hardened steel shackles are tougher to cut or pry than steel shackles. Those that are copper-nickel-chrome plated have an added layer of corrosion resistance and strength.
