High-Security Weather-Resistant Padlocks

Lock outdoor storage containers, perimeter gates, and valuable equipment with peace of mind. The chrome-plated body on these padlocks resists corrosion from rain and snow. Rated UL 437 or EN 12320, they’ve passed a test to fend off break-ins from lockpicking, hammering, cutting, and more, making them some of the most secure padlocks we offer. If someone tries drilling them, an internal plate blocks the drill bit from penetrating the cylinder. Both ends of the shackle lock inside the body to make it difficult to force them open from prying or shimming. For extra security, these padlocks are keyed differently, so the same key can’t be used with multiple locks.
Brass-body locks have excellent corrosion resistance, but they’re not as strong as steel-body locks.
Hardened steel shackles are stronger than stainless steel shackles, but they don’t stand up as well to corrosion. Stainless steel shackles have excellent corrosion resistance, but they’re not as strong as hardened steel shackles.
Padlocks rated UL 437 have been tested to withstand break-in methods for over five minutes. They’re comparable to those that meet EN 12320 Grade 5. Both their cylinder and keys have a unique design that prevents them from being easily copied.
Padlocks that cannot be sold to the listed areas are restricted by product regulations.

High-Security Weather-Resistant Extra-Clearance Padlocks
Tested to withstand the toughest break-in methods, these padlocks keep storage containers, gates, and other outdoor equipment safe when you aren’t around. They fit around oversized hasps or large chains thanks to their extra-long shackle. They’re rated UL 437 or EN 12320 to prevent access from lockpicking, hammering, cutting, and more. An internal plate blocks drill bits from penetrating the cylinder. They’re made from materials that resist corrosion caused by rain and snow. Choose keyed differently locks if you need locks that each open with a different key.
Padlocks with a dual-locking shackle prevent attempts to break them open from prying, shimming, or tapping because both ends of the shackle lock inside the body.
Stainless-steel-body locks are stronger than brass-body locks. Brass-body locks resist corrosion better than stainless steel-body and hardened steel-body locks. Locks with a chrome-plated body have added strength and an extra layer of protection against corrosion.
Stainless steel shackles resist corrosion better than hardened steel shackles but aren’t as strong. Hardened steel shackles are stronger than stainless steel shackles.
Padlocks with a keyhole cover keep out water and debris to protect the cylinder from freezing, corroding, and jamming. They have a tethered cap for an extra-tight seal.
Pin-tumbler key locking mechanisms are the most difficult to pick. The more pins a lock has, the harder it is to pick.
Padlocks rated UL 437 have been tested to withstand break-in methods for over five minutes. They’re comparable to those that meet EN 12320 Grade 5. Their keys have a unique design with moveable elements to prevent them from being easily copied.

Enclosed-Shackle Padlocks

Keep your shackle hidden to thwart break-in attempts. Also known as hockey puck locks, these padlocks have a fully enclosed shackle on the back for greater security than standard padlocks. Designed to resist bolt cutting and prying, they’re often used on transport vans to prevent theft. Choose these locks if you need locks that each open with a different key. All locks have random key numbers.
For a complete locking system, you'll need a padlock and hasps.
Hasps consist of two flanges that attach to a door and a frame or to double doors. Thread your lock’s shackle through the flanges of the hasp to secure them together.
Stainless steel padlocks resist corrosion better than steel padlocks.
Padlocks rated UL 437 are among the most secure padlocks we offer. They’ve been tested to withstand break-in methods such as lockpicking, drilling, shackle cutting, sawing, and hammering for over five minutes. Their keys have a unique design with moveable elements to prevent them from being easily copied. Internal steel plates protect against drills.

Enclosed-Shackle Master Keyed Padlocks

Eliminate access to the most vulnerable part of any padlock—the shackle. Also known as hockey puck locks, these padlocks have a completely enclosed shackle on the back for better security than standard padlocks. Designed to resist bolt-cutting and prying attacks, they’re often used on transport vans to prevent theft. Choose these locks if you want individual locks or groups of locks that open with their own key, but also open with a master key (sold separately).
Stainless steel padlocks are more corrosion resistant than steel padlocks. Rated UL 437, they’ve been tested to withstand break-in methods such as lockpicking, drilling, shackle cutting, sawing, and hammering for over five minutes. Among the most secure padlocks we offer, both their cylinder and keys have a unique design that prevents them from being easily copied. Internal steel plates protect against drills. They cannot be sold outside of the United States due to product regulations.
Add an optional hasp for a complete locking system. These hasps consist of two flanges that attach to a door and a frame or to double doors, like those on the back of a transport van. Thread the shackle through the flanges of the hasp to secure them together.
