Nestable Plastic Pallets

Like a stack of plastic cups, these pallets nestle inside each other when empty to save on storage space. Just keep in mind, you’ll need to pull them apart before you can access them with a forklift. Made of plastic, these pallets are exempt from ISPM 15 regulations and can be used for global shipping. They don’t have bottom support beams, so they require rack decking.
Pallets with a vented surface are a good choice for refrigeration and washdown applications—the gaps allow cool air to flow through and water to drain out.
Style D have a textured surface to keep your load from shifting.
Style F have a slight lip around the edge to prevent loads from slipping off.
40" × 48" pallets are the most common size in the United States. 48" × 48" pallets are sized to hold four standard 55-gal. drums in a 2×2 grid.

Stackable Plastic Pallets

The flat tops of these pallets sit flush when stacked, so you can slide your forks into the sides. You can also stack them with a load on top, as long as the bottom pallet has a high enough stationary capacity to support the weight above. However, they take up more space than nestable pallets when they’re not in use. Made of plastic, these pallets are more durable than cardboard or wood pallets, but less durable than metal pallets. They are exempt from ISPM 15 regulations, so you can ship them anywhere in the world.
Pallets with a vented surface are a good choice for refrigeration and washdown applications—the gaps allow cool air to flow through and water to drain out.
Style D have a slight lip around the edge to prevent loads from slipping off. They’re AIAG certified, which means they meet the size and capacity standards set by the Automotive Industry Action Group.
Style E have four indentations to help keep 55-gal. drums from sliding during transport.
Pallets that require rack decking need a supporting deck surface when stored on a pallet rack. Pallets that don’t require rack decking have bottom support beams or reinforced construction and can be stored directly on pallet rack beams. They’re also known as rackable pallets.

Steel Pallets

Built to outlast all of our other pallets, these steel pallets are welded at every joint for strength and durability. The steel is galvanized, so they'll resist corroding, even outdoors. Since steel is not flammable, they won’t pose a fire hazard. Although very sturdy, they are heavier and take more effort to maneuver than pallets made of lighter materials.
Also known as rackable pallets, these don’t require decking underneath, so you can put them directly on the beams of your pallet rack. These pallets can be stored in stacks for easy forklift access. You can also ship them anywhere in the world, since they’re exempt from ISPM 15 regulations.

Wood Pallets

Made from new, heat-treated wood, these pallets are stronger and more durable than what you’ll find at your local pallet yard. The edges are straight and the dimensions are consistent. Unlike pallets made from recycled wood, they’re free of cracks and other defects. They also last longer, although they’re not as durable as pallets made from plastic or metal. These pallets sit flush when stacked, so you can access entry points with your forks. All are stamped with ISPM 15 approval, so you can ship them anywhere in the world.
To store these pallets on a pallet rack, you’ll need a supporting deck surface.
42" × 42" pallets are sized to hold nine stacks of standard 5 gal. pails in a 3 × 3 grid. 48" × 48" pallets are sized to hold four standard 55 gal. drums in a 2 × 2 grid.
GMA pallets are the most common type of pallet in the United States. They’re made to specifications set by the Consumer Brands Association (CBA). EPAL 1 pallets, also known as Euro pallets, comply with the EU’s Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR). They’re built to European Pallet Association standards—right down to the type of nails used—and stamped with approval.
Note: Capacity while moving assumes the pallet is supported by standard 42" forks. For pallets 72" and deeper, moving capacity is based on 72” forks.

Aluminum Pallets

Lightweight yet sturdy, these aluminum pallets are only half the weight of steel alternatives. They’re welded together to create a durable platform that will outlast cardboard, wood, and plastic. Since aluminum is not flammable, you don't have to worry about these pallets posing a fire hazard. They also resist corrosion, so you can use them outside.
Also known as rackable pallets, they don’t require decking underneath, so you can put them directly on the beams of your pallet rack. Unlike nestable pallets, these pallets can be stored in stacks for easy forklift access. You can ship them anywhere in the world, since they’re exempt from ISPM 15 regulations.

Choose-a-Color Plastic Pallets

Create your own color-coding system with these vibrant pallets—red for perishable goods, green for rush deliveries, or orange for hazards. These pallets make it easy to know what’s inside a shipment without opening it up or reading a manifest. The vented surface improves air circulation, preventing hot spots in refrigerated storage. It also makes for easy draining when you wash these pallets down. Ship these pallets anywhere in the world—they’re exempt from ISPM 15 regulations.
These pallets don’t have a middle support beam, so they’ll need a supporting deck surface for storage on a pallet rack.
