Heavy Duty Air-Powered Narrow-Belt Sanders
Often used to blend welds and deburr metal, these sanders have a steel housing and rugged design that handles tough jobs without slowing down. The narrow belt fits in tight spaces and hard-to-reach areas. Their high air consumption can make the steel housing cold, but a layer of rubber insulation shields your hands and also reduces vibration. The variable-speed motor lets you set the speed for any task, from heavy material removal to delicate surface sanding. These sanders have adjustable belt tracking that lets you maintain proper belt tension. Sanding belts are not included.
Sanders with a contact wheel remove hard metal and dense wood. They have the most horsepower of our narrow-belt sanders, so they’re a good choice for faster material removal. A side handle helps you maintain control while working with their high horsepower.
Sanders with a pivoting arm adjust to your desired angle—the arm rotates 360°.
You can change the contact arm on your sander to sand different types of surfaces.

Heavy Duty Air-Powered Disc Sanders

For tough jobs, these sanders use roughly 1.5 times more air than standard air-powered disc sanders. Made with a steel housing, they’ll hold up to bumps and scuffs in environments as rugged as foundries. They’re often used to remove flash, which is the metal that seeps out of die cast molds. Their high air consumption makes the steel cold, but a rubber housing protects your hands and also reduces vibration. These sanders move in a fixed rotary motion, so they remove more material from your work surface than random orbital sanders. However, this means they can leave swirl marks on the surface. Use with Style B quick-change discs (not included).

Sheet Sanding Blocks
Sand by hand with comfort and control. Cut sanding sheets and rolls (both sold separately) to size to fit these blocks. For additional abrasive materials and grits, see our full offering of sanding sheets and sanding rolls.
Style A blocks have both a flat side and a curved side for sanding. The flat side is best for flat surfaces, and the curved side is good for curves and contours.
Style C blocks have a cushioned, ergonomic grip for comfort while you sand.
Style D and E blocks are extra long to sand large surfaces with a more consistent finish/flatness than smaller sanding blocks. Style D have two handles, so you can apply more pressure to remove more material. Use hard-density blocks on flat surfaces. Use soft-density blocks on contoured surfaces.

Flexible Hand Sanding Blocks for Discs

Made of foam, these blocks flex to sand around curves. Use with adhesive-back discs (sold separately).
Nylon Mesh Pad Sanding Blocks

Attach a nylon mesh sanding pad (sold separately) to these blocks for improved comfort and control. Teeth on the bottom of the block sink into the mesh of the sanding pad to hold it in place. Use them with pads at least the size of your block. They're most commonly used with standard 6” Wd. × 9” Lg. sanding pads.

Disc Sanding Blocks

Attach sanding discs to these hand sanding blocks.
Style A are ideal for sanding flat surfaces.
Style B have a contoured grip for added comfort and control. They have a small diameter that makes them good for detailing.
Style C are reversible, so you can attach a sanding disc to either end. One end is firm for material removal, while the other is cushioned for gentle finishing. They have a small diameter that makes them good for detailing.
