    Stop using unstable springs and scrap pieces of metal to hold your parallels in place. These spring-loaded keepers secure your setup during part changes and repositioning. They also stop chips and grit from falling between the vise jaws and parallels. Also known as parallel separators, they offer a cleaner and more reliable way to fixture.
    Full-Face Parallel Keeper—These keepers apply even pressure across the full jaw width for the most stability. Squeeze the ends together to place inside; release and they push outward to hold the parallels against the vise jaws. Keepers fit a wide range of jaw openings, so you won’t have to adjust them.
    Center Parallel Keeper—A compact and versatile solution that works with any jaw width. Place in the center of the vise and close the jaws—the keeper’s internal spring holds parallels in place. These keepers include three screw lengths for jaw openings from 1 1/8" to 4 1/8". For larger openings, use your own longer 5/16"-18 flat-head screw. Keepers also come with 3/4" and 1 1/2" springs for the few jobs the keeper won't fit.
