Plastic

High-Strength High-Temperature PEEK—A close alternative to metal nuts, these offer the best strength of all our plastic nuts to stand up to high-stress applications. They also won't degrade when exposed to high heat, so they are a good choice for joining components on circuit boards and other electrical applications. They aren't very impact resistant, however, and may crack or dent if subjected to hard bumps and vibrations.
