Extreme-Pressure Hard Plastic Tubing for Chemicals

- Flexibility:
Inch Tubing: Semi-Flexible
Metric Tubing: Semi-Rigid - Compatible with Compression Tube Fittings
- Hardness Rating:
Inch Tubing: Hard
Metric Tubing: Hard (Durometer 65D) - Temperature Range:
Inch Tubing: -320° to 480° F
Metric Tubing: -75° to 500° F
A lightweight alternative to stainless steel, this PEEK plastic tubing can handle extreme-pressure applications and has excellent impact resistance. It has the chemical resistance to withstand a variety of acids and other harsh substances. Tubing is opaque, so you cannot see inside the line to monitor flow. It is semi-flexible, so it’s good for gradual bends.
Note: The walls of this tubing will permanently collapse if bent too far.

High-Temperature Expandable Sleeving

Protect cable, hose, and pipe from abrasion and cuts in high temperature environments—this sleeving withstands temperatures over 450° F. It expands to fit over items for easy installation; sleeving then tightens around its contents for a secure fit. The braided construction permits heat and moisture to dissipate.
PTFE and PEEK sleeving withstand chemicals and salt water, so they can be used in extreme environments where cable and hose need protection from harsh fluids, such as in chemical plants and in oil and gas production. It has better abrasion and tear resistance than fiberglass sleeving. PTFE sleeving also withstands acids and solvents. PEEK is lighter in weight than PTFE, and more cost efficient.
Flame rated VW-1 sleeving meets requirements for preventing the spread of flames based on a timed test with vertically suspended material.

High-Temperature Heat-Shrink Tubing

Use this tubing in applications where temperatures reach up to 500° F. It’s often used to insulate electronic components. Tubing resists abrasion and chemicals.
Semi-rigid tubing bends only slightly.
PEEK tubing has a higher dielectric strength than PTFE, so it’s better for electrical insulation. It also withstands high-pressure applications and is often used in oil and gas exploration.
Dielectric strength is the maximum voltage a material can handle before it starts to breakdown. The higher the dielectric strength of a material, the better it is for preventing electricity, heat, or signal from dissipating from wire and cable.
