    Hang outlet boxes from the ceiling to keep cords off the floor and out of the way. These extension cords have a cable support grip on the plug for strain relief against bending and swinging. Although these cords meet OSHA strain-relief requirements, the outlet box must be placed on a flat surface, as these cords aren't rated for dangling loads. The CPE cable resists cracking and brittleness in greasy and damp environments, and the thick rubber outlet box helps prevent damage if struck.
