Adjustable Clamps

The open clamp design permits welding around almost the entire pipe circumference. Secure components with chains and tighten the handles.

Straight Clamps—Straight clamps are for use with two lengths of straight pipe and with reducers.

Flange Clamps—Flange clamps are for flanges and straight pipe.

Adjustable Clamps—Adjustable clamps are for use with straight pipe, elbows, tees, reducers, and risers. They pivot on a hinge to hold components at any angle from 90° to 180°.

Aluminum Body—Aluminum clamps are lighter in weight than iron clamps.

Chain Style	Yoke Style

Hold pipe, tubing, and conduit for cutting and threading

Chain Style—Chain style vises have jaws on the base. Crank the handle to tighten the chain, securing the object against the jaws.

Yoke Style—Yoke style vises have top and bottom jaws—turn the handle to clamp the object between them. They have a hinged side opening with a locking latch. You can reverse the yoke to open on the left or right. Yoke style is not recommended for plastic pipe.

Cast Iron Body Lever Locking

The most accurate bench centers you can find. Our centers help you inspect shafts and other cylindrical parts for the tiniest irregularities that could cause wobbles or vibrations. Machined in the U.S., the head and tailstock are precision ground in pairs for exact alignment between the two centers.

Inserting and removing shafts takes seconds. The tailstock slides and locks them in place with the twist of a handle. Unlike V-blocks, these centers hold shafts by their endpoints to check if they are perfectly centered and round with no runout. If you find wobbles that need more machining, you can pop shafts back into the center to take new measurements without realigning your setup.

Horizontal Orientation—Use horizontal-only centers to inspect heavy parts, such as large crankshafts and drive shafts. With a precision ground base, you don’t need to set them up on a surface plate. They have four adjustable leveling feet to compensate for uneven workbench surfaces.

Vertical Orientation—With accuracy unmatched for their size, these versatile centers check small parts, such as miniature crank shafts. When you need to inspect multiple dimensions, flip them on their end to take measurements in the vertical position.

Clamping—Self-Centering

Hold pipe and fittings together for tack welding. These clamps can be used to weld two pipes of similar or different diameters, or they can be used to weld a pipe to a flange. With a rugged build, they’re designed for use with heavy pipe.

External Clamping—External clamps work well when you can’t access the inside of your pipe. However, you may need to rotate them during welding to move them out of the way.

Internal Clamping—Internal clamps don’t obstruct welding, making the process faster and simpler. One side of these two-part clamps expands with a knob while the other expands with a hand bar, so you can set them at different diameters to join pipe and flanges of varying sizes.

Thumb Screw Adjustment—Clamps with thumb screws hold fittings or flanges at three separate points—adjust them manually to center the two pieces being joined.

Self-Centering—Self-centering clamps consist of two clamps that share a center line even as you attach each to a different piece of pipe, so the pipes stay aligned with no manual adjustment needed.

Freestanding Pipe Vises for Clean Rooms

Keep clean rooms free of contaminants. These vises have rubber-covered jaws that prevent metal-to-metal contact and a plastic-encased chain that seals in lubrication. Set up the tripod to hold pipe, tubing, and conduit for cutting and threading. Crank the handle to tighten the chain, securing the object against the jaws on the base.
