Thick, Schedule 80 walls give this pipe better strength than our standard-wall steel unthreaded pipe. Weld it to fittings and additional lengths of pipe. Welded connections are stronger than threaded connections and less likely to leak. Pipe is seamless, so it has a smooth interior for unrestricted flow. It is for use in noncorrosive environments.

P22 chrome-moly steel is stronger and easier to weld than plain steel. It resists scaling even in steam applications.
