Slippery High-Temperature Plastic Trim

This trim withstands temperatures up to 500° F, which is generally twice as high as our other slippery trim. Made of PTFE, it has a slippery surface to minimize friction between parts and is often used on conveyor rails, chutes, and guides. It's also chemical resistant. This trim has a hard or medium-hard rating to withstand high levels of impact. The harder the trim, the more impact it withstands. All of the trim is nonmarking.
Flexible trim can be bent along a gradual curve. Push-on trim fits onto an edge and it grips on three sides for a tight hold. It can be used outdoors.

Super-Cushioning Foam Half Rounds
Use these foam half rounds as a cushioning bumper, as well as in packaging applications. This polyethylene foam has closed-cell construction, which restricts water, air, and gases from being absorbed.

High-Temperature Foam Rubber Surface-Mount Seals
Made of solid silicone foam rubber, these seals will stand up to hot environments, plus they resist water and salts. They are softer and more flexible than silicone rubber and will effortlessly conform to uneven surfaces to shield against dust, noise, and vibration. The foam has closed-cell construction, which resists absorption.

High-Temperature Hollow Foam Rubber Surface-Mount Seals
It’s the hollow construction that makes these seals more compressible than solid seals. Made of silicone foam rubber, these seals can handle hot environments, plus they resist water and salts. They’re softer and more flexible than silicone rubber seals and will effortlessly conform to uneven surfaces to shield against dust, noise, and vibration. The foam has closed-cell construction, which resists absorption.

High-Temperature Hollow Foam Rubber Flange-Mount Seals
These silicone foam rubber seals are hollow for better compressibility than solid seals. They resist heat, water, and salts. They’re softer and more flexible than silicone rubber seals and will effortlessly conform to uneven surfaces. These seals have a flange that can be positioned along a door’s edge to cover gaps and block dust, noise, and vibration. The foam has closed-cell construction, which resists absorption.

Ultra-Strength Lightweight Carbon Fiber Half Rounds

- Color: Black
- Temperature Range: 0° F to 250° F
- Tensile Strength: 120,000-175,000 psi (Excellent)
- Fiber Tensile Stiffness: Standard (33-36 msi)
- Impact Strength: Not Rated
- Hardness: Not Rated
- For Use Outdoors: No
Mount these lightweight half rounds on flat surfaces to reinforce frames and structures. Carbon fiber is often used in place of aluminum because it weighs less but is almost as rigid. These half rounds have fibers that run in one direction, making them strongest in the direction of the fibers. They resist bending across the fibers but will splinter and separate like string cheese when bent along the length of the fiber. Carbon fiber is known for its use in the aerospace industry where a balance of weight and strength is critical.

EMI/RFI Shielding Gaskets
These gaskets absorb electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI) to prevent inaccurate signals, flickering displays, and other electrical problems. They compress to fill gaps and complete a grounding path around doors and access panels.
Half-round gaskets work well in grooves. Use a gasket slightly thicker than the depth of the groove; it will compress to fill the gap.
Polyurethane foam gaskets are covered with either a conductive nickel/copper braided fabric or conductive aluminum foil. A nonconductive adhesive holds them in place. To protect sensitive equipment, they block at least twice as much interference as urethane foam gaskets. Cut these gaskets to length with scissors.
Gaskets that meet UL 94 V-0 self-extinguish within 10 seconds if they catch fire and won’t spread the fire by dripping.
