Chemical-Resistant Slippery PTFE Film
PTFE has a naturally slippery surface that allows objects to easily slide across it. It resists most solvents and stands up to extreme temperatures. It’s also an excellent electrical insulator.

Known for its use in the aerospace industry, where a balance of weight and strength is critical, carbon fiber is now often machined into panels for structural framing, machinery components, and robotics. Use it in place of aluminum to reduce your application's weight without sacrificing much rigidity. Because these sheets and bars are lightweight, they reduce wear and stress on motorized parts, increasing the life of machinery.
Plain bars have fibers that are aligned in a single direction, making them strong in the direction of the fibers. They hold up to bending across the fibers but will splinter and separate like string cheese when bent along the length of the fiber.

Peel-Away Layered Shim Stock
Cut this shim stock it into custom shapes to fit your application. Stock is made of layers of material bonded with adhesive; remove layers with a utility knife until you get the thickness you need. To make the layers easier to pull apart, gently heat the shim to soften the adhesive.
For accurate leveling, choose materials such as steel or stainless steel, which are hard enough to resist scratching and deforming. Softer shims, like copper or aluminum, can be used as wear plates between components that rub together, preventing damage to equipment.
Polyimide plastic shim stock is corrosion resistant, electrically insulating, and holds its shape at extreme temperatures. It's easier to peel apart than metal shim stock. Stock includes a material certificate with traceable lot number and test report.
