Wear-Resistant Easy-to-Machine Delrin® Acetal Resin Sheets, Bars, and Strips
These sheets, bars, and strips resist expanding when exposed to heat and moisture, so they can be easily machined to close tolerances. They also have a naturally slippery, wear-resistant surface. Use them to make precision gears, bushings, and bearings. Delrin® acetal resin, also known as acetal homopolymer, is stronger and stiffer than acetal copolymer.
White sheets, bars, and strips are FDA compliant for contact with food.

Slippery Wear-Resistant Easy-to-Machine
Delrin® Acetal AF Resin Sheets and Strips
The addition of PTFE provides a more slippery, wear-resistant surface than standard Delrin® acetal resin. These sheets and strips resist expanding when exposed to heat and moisture, so they can be machined to close tolerances. Fabricate them into pump components, gears, and bearings. Delrin® acetal resin is also known as acetal homopolymer.

Peel-Away Layered Shim Stock
Cut this shim stock it into custom shapes to fit your application. Stock is made of layers of material bonded with adhesive; remove layers with a utility knife until you get the thickness you need. To make the layers easier to pull apart, gently heat the shim to soften the adhesive.
For accurate leveling, choose materials such as steel or stainless steel, which are hard enough to resist scratching and deforming. Softer shims, like copper or aluminum, can be used as wear plates between components that rub together, preventing damage to equipment.
Polyimide plastic shim stock is corrosion resistant, electrically insulating, and holds its shape at extreme temperatures. It's easier to peel apart than metal shim stock. Stock includes a material certificate with traceable lot number and test report.
