Switch-Off Lifting Magnets
Also known as permanent lifting magnets, these magnets have an on/off handle to engage and release the magnet. They have a lifting eye for attaching a hook or sling. Style B magnet includes a detachable vertical lifting eye that mounts to the side of the magnet to lift plates vertically. Style C magnet has a pivoting lifting eye for both horizontal and vertical lifting.
Style A and B handles lock in both the on and off positions to prevent accidental release. Style C handle locks in the on position only.
Note: Capacities listed are based on lifting flat, rigid metal that has a clean, smooth surface. If used on dirty, oily, thin, or curved surfaces, the capacities will be reduced. Do not use on metal that flexes.
Warning: Never use to lift people or items over people.

Pry-Off Lifting Magnets

Also known as permanent lifting magnets, these magnets hold a load until you pull the handle and pry the magnet off. They have a lifting eye for attaching a hook or sling.
Style B magnets have a nonmarring roller release that prevents scraping and gouging the load as it is released.
Note: Capacities listed are based on lifting flat metal that has a clean, smooth surface. If used on dirty, oily, thin, or curved surfaces, the capacities will be reduced.
Warning: Never use to lift people or items over people.

Hand-Held Magnetic Lifters

Easily grab iron and steel fasteners, small sheets, and other parts from work areas, bins, and hard-to-reach places.
Style J has an easy-grip handle. Slide-on shields let you cover the magnet when not in use.
Styles K and L have a lifting eye for attaching a hook, rope, or chain to lower magnets into hard-to-reach spaces.
Styles M and N are also known as blueprint holders.
Warning: Never use to lift people or items over people.

Magnetic Sheet Metal Separators

Separate stacked steel sheets without prying, scratching, or bending them. These separators have a magnet which causes your stacked sheets to fan out. When you remove the top sheet, the next sheet automatically moves up. Separators have two nonmagnetic bars to keep plates moving freely.
Note: The number of separators required is approximate and you may need to add more separators.

Magnetic Plate Filters

Pull iron metal scrap and particles out of your process line as it moves through chutes and hoppers. Mount flush with the surface of your container; position below the flow of material.
Direct-mount filters bolt directly to chutes and hoppers. Can also be installed up to 3” above conveyor belts.
Hinged-mount filters provide access to clean the magnetic surface. You can also mount as a door on chutes and hoppers.

Magnetic Sine Plates

Turn the handle to switch the magnet on and secure steel parts—no need for clamps or screws. Use these plates with gauge blocks to tilt the plate surface to a precise angle. Measure angles on your workpiece or set up a part for precision grinding. Do not use for milling and drilling machine processes.

Magnetic Workholding Plates

The entire surface of these plates is magnetic to provide a powerful hold for grinding, drilling, and electrical discharge machining (EDM). They’re useful when clamps would interfere with your process and when there aren’t any convenient spots for clamping material. Pull the handle to switch the magnets on and off. Use the mounting clamps to secure the plate to your machine table and the removable back and side rails to keep your workpiece in position. Plates are sealed against dirt and liquid so they can be submerged in oil baths. They are not recommended for processes where workpieces are submerged in water.
Fine magnetic pole spacing provides the best hold on small or thin (1/4" or less) parts.
Standard magnetic pole spacing is suitable for most applications. It will provide the best grip on large or thick parts.
Plates with fine and standard magnetic pole spacing have more than twice the holding power of other plates. Use them with large and small parts.

Magnetic Workholding Chucks

To grind, drill, lightly mill, and machine parts that rotate around an axis, these chucks hold parts in place magnetically so you can access their inner and outer diameters. Use them when clamps will not fit or could damage the part’s finish. To switch the magnetic grip on and off, pull their handle. They have mounting holes for fitting in your machine, or your machine’s chuck can hold them.
Chucks with fine magnetic pole spacing hold parts that are smaller or thinner than 1/4".
Chucks with standard magnetic pole spacing grip large and thick parts. They’re good for most applications.

Quick-Release Magnetic Brackets

An on/off magnet control makes it easy to move and attach these brackets to metal surfaces. Secure items to the bracket plate. Magnets are made of neodymium (neodymium-iron-boron), a rare earth material. They have a case that concentrates and focuses the magnetic field. It also protects the magnetic material.
Warning: Maximum pull ratings are based on direct contact with rust-free and unpainted iron plate. Variations in material condition will significantly reduce these ratings. Do not use for lifting over people.
