Measure your pipe and fittings to identify their pipe size, thread size, schedule, and thread type. Then, find compatible components.

Low-Pressure Iron and Steel Press-Socket Pipe Fittings

Crimp these fittings onto steel pipe to form a tightly sealed connection that’s faster than threading or welding and doesn’t require heat. An internal gripping ring and rubber O-ring create a secure seal when crimped. They are designed to leak if fittings have not been crimped; a colored dot marks the leak path so it's easy to spot unsealed connections. These steel fittings are coated in zinc-nickel to resist corrosion, but will rust if frequently exposed to saltwater or harsh chemicals. They are comparable to Viega MegaPress steel fittings. Fittings meet ASME B31 code requirements for use in pressure piping systems.

Zinc-Plated Steel—Zinc-plated steel fittings have better corrosion resistance than plain steel fittings.
EPDM O-Ring—Fittings with an EPDM rubber O-ring are often used for water processing lines, fire sprinklers, and heating and cooling systems. EPDM rubber won’t degrade when exposed to water, ethylene glycol, and propylene glycol. These fittings meet UL 213 and FM 1920 standards for use in fire protection systems.

Low-Pressure Stainless Steel Press-Socket Pipe Fittings

Press these fittings onto stainless steel pipe using a crimping tool for a permanent, leak-tight connection that's faster than threading or welding and doesn't require heat. Fittings have an internal stainless steel gripping ring and rubber O-ring that create a seal when crimped. They are designed to leak if fittings have not been crimped; a colored dot marks the leak path so it's easy to spot unsealed connections. All of these fittings are made of 304 stainless steel to resist corrosion from frequent exposure to water and fuels. They’re often used for water processing lines, heating and cooling systems, and fuel lines. They are comparable to Viega MegaPress fittings. Fittings meet ANSI/ASME B31 code requirements for use in pressure piping systems.

Compact Screw-Plug Immersion Heating Elements for Oil and Coolant

Heat oil or coolant inside small containers to reduce the viscosity of the liquid and improve flow. These heating elements fit in compact openings that are 1 NPT or smaller. With a low-watt density, these heating elements operate efficiently and won’t burn out when used with a wide range of oils and coolants. The heating element is made of stainless steel, so it resists corroding when exposed to chemicals.
Both ends of these heating elements are threaded, so one side fits into your tank and the other can be threaded into a conduit to protect the wiring. For the most evenly distributed heating, choose the largest length of heating element that will fit in your container. To control the settings of the heating element they must be connected to a temperature switch or controller (required but not included).
Note: Fully submerge the heating element in liquid to prevent heating element failure.

To heat oil and coolant without creating hot spots and damaging the heating element, these heating elements have a lower watt density than heating elements for water or chemicals. They install into threaded container openings or pipe couplings to quickly and efficiently heat liquid through direct contact.
Note: Fully immerse the heating element in liquid to prevent heating element failure. These heating elements install through threaded container openings or pipe couplings.
Incoloy Nickel Heating Element—Incoloy heating elements are more corrosion resistant than steel heating elements.
Without Temperature Control—Heating elements without temperature control require a temperature switch or controller (sold separately) to regulate heat output.
Adjustable Thermostat—Heating elements with an adjustable thermostat automatically turn on when the temperature drops below the set temperature and off when it rises above the set temperature. Adjust the set temperature with the dial.
