Compact Screw-Plug Immersion Heating Elements for Chemical Solutions

Use these heating elements to efficiently heat liquid in small containers—they’re sized to fit in openings that are 1 NPT or smaller. They heat a variety of chemicals quickly—but not so quickly that the heating element burns out. The heating element is made of 316 stainless steel, so it resists corroding.
Both ends of the fitting are threaded, so one side fits into your tank and the other can be threaded into conduit to protect the wiring. For the most even heat distribution, choose the largest length of heating element that will fit in your container. Heating elements require a temperature switch or controller (sold separately) to regulate the heat output and power the heating element.
Note: Fully submerge the heating element while in use to prevent the heating element from failing.

Compact Screw-Plug Immersion Heating Elements for Water

Rapidly heat water in small containers to prevent freezing or generate steam. Compact in size, these heating elements fit in openings that are 1 ¼ NPT or smaller. With a high-watt density, they heat liquids up quickly. Inside the sheath is a heating element made of Incoloy or 316 stainless steel that won’t corrode when exposed to water and moisture.
Both ends of the fitting are threaded, so one side fits into your tank and the other can be threaded into conduit to protect the wiring. For the most even heat distribution, choose the largest length of heating element that will fit in your container. All require a temperature switch or controller (sold separately) to regulate the heat output and power the heating element .

Install these heating elements into threaded container openings or pipe couplings to quickly and efficiently heat liquid through direct contact. The heating element is Incoloy for excellent resistance to harsh chemicals.
Note: Fully immerse the heating element in liquid to prevent heating element failure.
Without Temperature Control—Heating elements without temperature control require a temperature switch or controller (sold separately) to regulate heat output.
Adjustable Thermostat—Heating elements with an adjustable thermostat automatically turn on when the temperature drops below the set temperature and off when it rises above the set temperature. Adjust the set temperature with the dial.
