    Retractable Spring Plungers for Panels

Manually lock and release panels, drawers, doors, and other sliding components with these spring plungers. The body inserts into the outer panel and the nose extends and retracts to control the inner sliding panel.

Use if your panel is too thin for a press-fit spring plunger. Insert the nose into the outer panel, then thread on the sleeve from the other side using an installation wrench (sold separately).
Steel Nose—The strongest, most wear-resistant noses, these won't deform from stress and vibration. Steel is best for dry environments, however, since moisture will cause it to rust.
Twist-to-Lock—Pull back the handle and twist to lock the nose in its retracted position.

Use a screwdriver to install these receptacles in a threaded hole. Use them to secure quick-release pins when you can't drill a through hole. They're made of 18-8 stainless steel for a balance of strength and corrosion resistance, and passivated for added protection against corrosion and oxidation.
