Also called PET and PETE, this strong, stiff plastic resists swelling when exposed to moisture, plus it’s wear resistant and easy to machine. These rods are often made into pump components, valves, and spacers.

Weather-Resistant Polyester Rods

These black polyester rods protect from UV rays better than off-white polyester. Strong and semi-rigid, they won't swell in moist environments, so they're often made into valves, pump components, and spacers. They’re wear resistant and easy to machine. This material is also called PET and PETE.
