Moisture-resistant polyester is combined with PTFE for rods that are self-lubricating and easy to machine. Also called Hydex and PBT, these rods are often used for bearings, gears, pistons, and other high-friction parts.

These black polyester sheets protect from UV rays better than off-white polyester. Strong and semi-rigid, they won't swell in moist environments, so they're often made into pump components and spacers. They’re wear resistant and easy to machine. This material is also called PET and PETE.
