Threaded-Hole Ball Knobs

Install these traditional, easy-to-grip ball knobs on a threaded stud. They're good for control levers and push-pull rods.
Plastic knobs are a lightweight alternative to metal. They resist oil, grease, and solvents. Polypropylene has good impact resistance.

Stud-Mount Ball Transfers

Install these ball transfers in a threaded hole or use a nut to secure.
Nylon and polypropylene balls are nonmarking. Nylon is stronger than polypropylene. However, polypropylene resists chemicals better than nylon.
Capacity is given for the ball up orientation. Using these ball transfers in a ball down or angled orientation could reduce the capacity stated.

Floats for Threaded Rods

Connect these floats to threaded float rods (not included). Use them to replace an existing float or combine with rods and float valve bodies (not included) to build a float valve. All are for use with water.
Polypropylene floats are lightweight and have good corrosion resistance.
Cylindrical and rectangular floats are self-tapping, except 4" dia. floats have a threaded hose connection.

Calibration Kit for Metal-Detectable Plastics

Made with metal additives, these balls test the sensitivity of food-processing metal detectors. They’re often used to calibrate metal detectors to find metal-detectable plastic tools that have fallen into a batch. To calibrate your metal detector, run different balls through the line—the smaller the ball, the more sensitive the detector must be to recognize it. Since they’re spheres, their orientation won’t affect a metal detector’s ability to register them. These balls help you comply with Hazard and Critical Control Point (HACCP) programs for food safety. They’re FDA compliant for direct contact with food. Balls are autoclavable, so you can sanitize them with steam.
