Horizontal-Mount Hazardous Location Float Switches for Fuels and Oils

Designed for use in areas where flammable substances are present, these switches are CSA certified for hazardous locations. Mount them through a tank wall. All are rated NEMA 4 for protection from washdowns. All are single pole, double throw (SPDT) and can be installed to turn one circuit from “off” to “on” (normally open) or from “on” to “off” (normally closed).
Switches with stainless steel body are more corrosion resistant than switches with brass body.

Floats for Threaded Rods

Connect these floats to threaded float rods (not included). Use them to replace an existing float or combine with rods and float valve bodies (not included) to build a float valve.
Polypropylene floats are lightweight and meet NSF/ANSI 61 standards for safe use with drinking water.
Cylindrical and rectangular floats are all self-tapping except those with a 4” diameter, which have a threaded hose connection.

Control water levels in processing tanks and cooling towers.
Use valves with bobbing float in tanks where the float may get jostled. The float moves independently of the rod, so valve operation is not disrupted.
