    Explosion-Proof String Work Lights

    Safe to use in areas with ignitable concentrations of flammable or combustible gases, vapors, liquids, and dust, these lights are rated NEC Class I, Class II, and Zone 1. Their housing contains fire and sparks, so they don’t ignite what’s in your environment. They’re often used in refineries, mines, and paint booths. Rated IP66, they’re also dust tight and sealed against sprays of water such as those used in washdowns. Since each head weighs less than 2 lbs., they’re easy to hang overhead. Each head has two straps for mounting on pipes, beams, or other surfaces.
    These lights come with a standard three-prong plug, so electrical connections must be made outside of the hazardous environment. Alternatively, you can add a hazardous location plug.

    Style A

    Bring light to explosion-prone work areas. Rated NEC Class I, these lights are safe to use in areas with ignitable concentrations of flammable or combustible gases, vapors, and liquids. All also meet NEMA 4X, meaning they withstand spraying liquid, resist corrosion, and keep out dust. Use the hook to hang them where you need them. These lights come with a standard three-prong plug, so electrical connections must be made outside of the hazardous environment. Alternatively, you can add a hazardous location plug.
    Style A—Style A weigh less than 2 pounds, so you can hold them without your hand and arm tiring. Rated IP66, they’re dust tight and sealed against washdowns. A protective lens keeps the LEDs from getting damaged while diffusing light evenly. Their compact design fits in narrow and low-clearance spaces. Add a mounting clamp to clip to a pipe or other surface. The clamp swivels so you can aim the light where you need it.
