    Collect and measure buildup from the bottom of oil tanks, septic tanks, wastewater lagoons, and other areas. Unlike other samplers that only hold liquids, these samplers can draw in solids, too. They help you monitor sludge, which is important for meeting environmental regulations for sewage. Not for use with ethanol or ethanol-blended fuel.
    Made of strong plastic, these samplers are rigid enough to push through tough layers of sludge to collect a complete sample. A valve lets in liquids and solids, then blocks them from going out. Samplers are clear and marked with 1-ft. graduations, so you can view and measure what’s inside. Press down on the valve pin to empty.
    These samplers consist of three hollow 5-ft. tubes. Screw together as many as you need to match the depth of your tank. Since they’re detachable, they’re easy to transport.
    Cellulose—Cellulose samplers are lighter in weight than polycarbonate and work for most applications.
    Polycarbonate—Polycarbonate samplers are more durable and chemical resistant than cellulose. They're also treated to protect against damage from UV rays, so they won’t wear down if you use them outdoors on long jobs.
    Extensions—Add extensions to make samplers longer.

    A thumbwheel on these spatulas creates small vibrations to dispense tiny amounts of liquids or powder. This makes them a great choice to transfer material bit by bit into a weighing dish. Made from stainless steel, these spatulas are corrosion resistant for use with chemicals, as well as easy to clean and sanitize.
    U-Shape Blade—Spatulas with a u-shape blade can fit into narrow openings, such as small bottles. Their raised edges keep samples from falling over the sides of the blade. Instead, samples will funnel down the narrow tip, giving you the greatest control over how much is dispensed.
    Curved Blade—Spatulas with a curved blade have a slight curve at the tip to keep samples from falling off the end in large quantities. These spatulas lack edges, so they are a great choice when you want to dispense every last speck.
    PTFE-Coated Stainless Steel Blade—Spatulas with a PTFE-coated stainless steel blade let liquid and powder slide easily off the blade. The coating meets FDA requirements for use in direct food contact applications.
