    Portable Power Generators

Supply power to equipment in the field. A favorite of contractors, they’re portable enough to toss on a truck bed or push like a wheelbarrow. Built to last—the engine self-lubricates and shuts off when oil runs low.

2,200 W Maximum Continuous Watts—With a current as stable as a home outlet, these lightweight generators convert between DC and AC power to avoid power spikes. When power demands decrease, the engine slows down to save you gas. These low engine speed and the hard plastic shell around the engine make them as quiet as a dishwasher. Use a single generator for tasks under 2,200 watts, or chain two together when you need to double your output.
Cannot Be Sold To—Generators cannot be sold to the listed areas due to import regulations and emissions requirements.

The toughest generators we offer. The diesel engine lasts longer and is more fuel efficient than a gasoline-powered one, so you’ll save money over time. Great for outdoor jobs in winter—they start and operate in temperatures below freezing. Hook your crane onto the steel frame’s lifting eye to move them around your site or to secure them off the ground at night.

Protect sensitive and critical electronic equipment—these uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) do not suffer a loss of power when switching from your power source to the UPS during an outage. They also protect against frequency variation and waveform distortion. All have USB and DB9 connections with cords so you can save data and safely shut down an unattended computer during outages. Choose a power output that is equal to or greater than the power your equipment requires.

If there’s a power outage, flip the toggle for each circuit on these switches to backup power. Each circuit can also be turned off completely. To prevent injury and damage to your generators, they are open transition, meaning the contacts disconnect from one power source before connecting to another. This is also known as break-before-make switching.
Use them with a portable generator.
NEMA 1—NEMA 1 switches should be used indoors.
NEMA 1 with NEMA 3R Power Inlet Box—NEMA 1 switches with a power inlet box create a connection point between the switch and a portable generator. These switches should be used indoors. But their inlet box is rated NEMA 3R, so it can be mounted on the outside of an exterior wall.
NEMA 3R—NEMA 3R switches can be used outdoors since they seal out rain, snow, and sleet.
Key Lock—Switches with a key lock prevent unauthorized changes to the switch.

Backup Power Supplies for Facility Lights

    Backup Power Supplies
Image of Product. Back orientation. Backup Power Supplies. Backup Power Supplies for Facility Lights, Backup Power Supplies.
Turn your facility lights into emergency lights—no need for generators or separate backup lights. Also known as battery inverters, these power supplies detect outages and shift your lights to battery power. To comply with UL 924 and help you meet NFPA standards, they activate your lights at full brightness for at least 90 minutes, even if they’re off or dimmed. A low-voltage disconnect extends the life of the battery by switching it off before it’s fully drained.
An LED indicator tells you whether your lights are using primary or backup power. The indicator also tells you when these power supplies require maintenance. They have a manual test switch, so you can test them without disrupting the power.
If you have more than one circuit, you’ll need to add a relay to bypass dimmers and on/off controls across circuits. You can also wire these relays to your fire alarm. Pull the alarm to activate lights to full brightness during emergencies, even without an outage. Also known as automatic load control relays.
Maximum Recommended Power—Maximum recommended power is the total wattage of connected devices that these power supplies can support.
Cannot Be Sold To—Power supplies that cannot be sold to the listed areas are restricted due to local energy efficiency requirements.

Relays have an LED indicator that tells you if your lights are using primary or backup power and when these relays require maintenance. They also have a test switch to make sure the system is working.
Unthreaded Through-Hole Mount—Relays that mount into an unthreaded through hole install into knockouts in junction boxes and light fixtures.
Fastener Mount—Fastener-mount relays are ideal when space is tight or you want to hide your relay. They fit inside a ballast channel to keep everything contained within your fixture housing.

Transfer power to a built-in battery during brownouts and blackouts with only a momentary loss of power during transfer. With a USB connection and cord, you can save data and safely shut down an unattended computer during an outage with these supplies. They also protect against line noise and power surges. Choose a power output equal to or greater than the power your equipment requires. Determine your volt-amps requirement by multiplying the amp draw of your equipment by 120V AC. Power supplies cannot be sold to the regions listed due to local energy efficiency requirements.

Protect sensitive equipment—these conditioners raise or lower current to keep it at a stable level during dips and surges. There is no battery transfer time during a power dip. During brownouts and blackouts, they transfer power to a built-in battery with only a momentary loss of power during transfer. Power supplies also protect against line noise and power surges. They have a USB connection and cord so you can save data and safely shut down an unattended computer during outage.
Choose a power output equal to or greater than the power your equipment requires. Determine your volt-amps requirement by multiplying the amp draw of your equipment by 120V AC.

Automatic Transfer Switches for Facility Lights

Image of Product. Front orientation. Transfer Switches. Automatic Transfer Switches for Facility Lights.
Restore lighting immediately during power outages. These switches detect when your main power source goes out and shift your lights to a backup, such as a secondary utility source or generator. To comply with UL 924 and help you meet NFPA standards, they turn your lights on at full brightness even if the lights were turned off or dimmed. You can also wire these switches to your fire alarm. Pull the alarm to activate lights to full brightness during emergencies, even without an outage. All have passed testing to meet UL 1008, a safety standard for transfer switches.
An LED indicator tells you whether lights are running on a primary or backup power source. The indicator also tells you when these switches require maintenance.
Remote Testing Buttons—Add a remote testing button to check if switches behind the wall or ceiling are working properly.

Large-Area Mobile Floodlights with Power Generator

As bright as stadium lights, these floodlights are the most powerful in our offering—they’ll brighten jobsites half the size of a football field. They run on a diesel generator you can use to power other lights and tools in the field. Also known as light towers, they rise up to 23 ft. To direct light where you want it, pivot any of the four heads. You can also rotate the mast, even if it’s already raised.
Rated IP65, these floodlights are protected against dust and low-pressure washdowns. That means rain won’t be a problem. They’ll also handle winds up to 65 mph. Just secure the hitch and two side supports to the ground with the attached leveling jacks. These floodlights will work in the cold, but not in subzero temperatures.
For towing from jobsite to jobsite, these floodlights have a trailer with a ball hitch and tongue. They also come with safety chains, which have a 7,800-lb. load capacity. The trailer’s lights are D.O.T. approved for road use.
