Add permanent threads to thin panels in seconds. The knurls on these clinch-style nuts deform and grip sheet metal to create a permanent hold. Push them into a drilled or punched hole with an arbor press around your workpiece to install—no messy welding required.
Zinc-Plated Steel—A step up from plain steel, the zinc plating withstands occasional exposure to moisture.
18-8 Stainless Steel—The choice for wet and outdoor environments, these nuts resist rust and mild chemicals.
High-Temperature High-Strength A286 Stainless Steel—Our strongest press-fit nuts are hard enough to install in stainless steel panels. They also withstand temperatures up to 1150° F and resist corrosion from chemicals such as bleach and chlorine.
Lightweight Aluminum—At one-third the weight of steel, use these nuts in robotics, aerospace parts, and other applications with strict weight limits. They resist rust about as well as stainless steel but aren't as strong, so they're best for installation in aluminum panels.

The ridged knurls on these broach-style nuts cut into soft metal and plastic without deforming them. They add permanent threads to everything from soft brass panels to brittle circuit boards.
Tin-Plated Steel—The plating resists corrosion from mild chemicals and salt water.

These nuts sit flush in panels for a smooth surface, so they fit in cramped enclosures. You can also install them onto parts before forming them, since the head bends along with the metal. The hex-shaped head locks into holes when installed, so the nuts won't twist as you fasten screws.
18-8 Stainless Steel—The choice for wet and outdoor environments, these nuts resist rust and mild chemicals.
High-Strength 400 Series Stainless Steel—Hard enough to install in stainless steel panels. These nuts are stronger than 18-8 stainless steel, but not as corrosion resistant, so they're best for environments with only occasional moisture.

Fasten together unaligned parts and keep screws in place. The threaded hole within these press-fit nuts shifts up to .01" in any direction, so you can fasten together thin panels with off-center holes. The irregularly shaped threads tightly grip screws to prevent them from loosening or backing out under vibration.
