    Differential Pressure Switches for Liquids

    Detect the difference in pressure between two points. For instance, these switches can indicate a filter is clogged in a pump or cooling system. When the differential pressure reaches your setpoint, they turn equipment on and off, activate automated controls, or signal alarms. They are single pole, double throw (SPDT) and can be installed to turn one circuit from off to on or from on to off. All meet at least one safety standard.
    NEMA 1 Enclosure Rating—NEMA 1 rated switches should only be used indoors.
    NEMA 4 Enclosure Rating—NEMA 4 rated switches can be used in dirty and wet areas exposed to washdowns and weather.

    Often used with ovens, dryers, and HVAC systems, these switches detect small differences in air pressure to indicate a filter is clogged or help you maintain a certain air pressure.     Differential Pressure Transmitters with Electronic Switch Outputs

    Get the flexibility of a differential pressure transmitter and a switch in one. These transmitters can work as a traditional transmitter using an analog output but also have electronic switch outputs and IO Link compatibility, making them great for advanced automation applications. Also known as transducers, they measure the difference in pressure between two inputs and convert it to electrical signal. Connect them to your programmable logic controller or receiving device to monitor differential pressure remotely, activate automated controls, or trigger alarms when they reach the set pressure. A digital display lets you monitor the differential pressure and troubleshoot issues at the source. It rotates for readability.
    You’ll often see these transmitters used to indicate a clogged filter or help maintain a certain pressure in HVAC systems, pumps, and cooling systems. NEMA and IP rated, they protect against dirt, dust, corrosion, weather, washdowns, and temporary submersion.
    For your receiving device to interpret the signal from the transmitter, you will need to calibrate it for the transmitter's differential pressure range and output signal. As differential pressure increases, the output signal from the transmitter will increase. Transmitters will only provide accurate readings within the rated pressure range.

    Hazardous Location Differential Pressure Switches for Liquids

    Tested and verified by UL and C-UL for use where explosive dust or gas are present, these switches have an explosion-proof enclosure that meets NEMA 7 and 9 standards for hazardous locations. They are often used to indicate a filter is clogged in a pump or cooling system. When the differential pressure reaches your setpoint, these switches can turn equipment on and off, activate automated controls, or signal alarms. They are single pole, double throw (SPDT) and can be installed to turn one circuit from off to on or from on to off.
    In addition to being UL and C-UL listed, these switches are CE marked, so they also meet European safety standards. All switches are IP and NEMA rated for use outdoors and to protect against some corrosion, dust, and washdowns.
