Hazardous Location Pressure Switches

Built with an explosion-proof enclosure to meet NEMA 7 and 9 standards for hazardous locations, these switches were tested and verified by UL and CSA for use where explosive liquids, dust, and gas are present. When they reach the set pressure, they power equipment, signal controls, or trigger alarms. They’re single pole, double throw (SPDT) and can be installed to turn one circuit from off to on (normally open) or from on to off (normally closed). In addition to being UL listed and CSA certified, these switches are CE marked, so they also meet European safety standards.
All switches are IP and NEMA rated for use outdoors and protection from some corrosion, dust, and spraying water.

Manual-Reset Pressure Switches

Used as a safety control, these switches must be manually reset each time they hit the set pressure, so you can inspect equipment before it restarts. When pressure rises too high, they activate alarms or stop processes. Push the button on the top to reset. Switches are single pole, double throw (SPDT) and can be installed to turn one circuit from off to on (normally open) or from on to off (normally closed).
NEMA 4X and IP66 rated, these switches resist corrosion and seal out dust and water from washdowns and weather. All meet at least one American, Canadian, or European safety standard.

Pressure and Vacuum Switches

Because these switches work with both positive and negative (vacuum) pressures, you can use them in applications that span both. For example, these switches can turn on a light when they reach the setpoint to indicate which pressure is flowing. They’re also often used to trigger automated controls and activate alarms. These switches are single pole, double throw (SPDT) and can either turn one circuit from off to on (normally open) or from on to off (normally closed).
NEMA 4X and IP66 rated, they’re dust tight and protected from washdowns and corrosion. All are UL and C-UL listed, CSA and CSA-US certified, and CE marked, so they meet U.S., Canadian, and European safety standards.
