With adjustable settings for resolution and output type, these transmitters can be programmed to suit your changing processes. Also known as encoders, they convert a shaft’s rotary motion into an electrical signal that indicates distance, direction, and speed. You’ll need a programming kit (sold separately) to set up these transmitters. They include software stored on a flash drive, as well as a cable and USB adapter for connecting your transmitter to a computer. The software requires a Windows 7 or higher operating system.
