    If none of our standard guards fit your chain or belt system, we'll create one to suit your needs. Guards prevent chain and belt slippage and protect your drive mechanism from interference. To mount, punch screw holes or weld.
    Select the sprocket center-to-center size range that matches your system. Then specify the following dimensions: sprocket center-to-center; large sprocket OD; small sprocket OD; clearance between sprocket and side of guard (2" of clearance is recommended); and guard depth (1" of clearance is recommended).

    Cover base-mount or flange-mount bearings to protect personnel from injury and keep contaminants out. Place guards over the entire bearing housing and drill holes in their flange to install with screws. If necessary, drill the guards for access to bearing grease fittings or to create space for a shaft to pass through, and trim the flange to fit in tight spaces.
    Black—Black ABS guards resist UV light, so they won’t color or crack when exposed to the sun.
    Yellow—Yellow ABS guards stand out from darker equipment, reducing the risk that someone could accidentally get caught in bearings.
