UL listed for use with three-hour fire doors, these touch bars are often used on emergency exits. They’re made of 304 stainless steel with either a zinc or aluminum housing, so they’ll withstand corrosion. A hydraulic dampener keeps them quiet. If you need to hold the bar in the unlatched position to allow traffic through, these bars have a built-in retainer. Use them alone or mount a handle (sold separately) on the outside of the door. All bars can be cut to fit a range of door widths.

Touch bars for double doors have vertical rods that latch into strike plates mounted on the floor and ceiling. Add lock cylinders for locks that are mounted to the door’s surface. They’re also known as rim lock cylinders.
