To determine door mounting location, look at the outside face of the door: if the hinges are on the right, order a right-side latch; if the hinges are on the left, order a left-side latch. Locking latches with both left- and right-side mounting can be installed on a center frame to latch and secure double doors.

Style 5 locking latches meet UL 94 HB standards for flammability.

Recessed Handle Keyed Push-to-Close Locking Latches

To prevent snags and accidental bumps, these locking latches have a recessed grip instead of a standard handle. Put your finger in the recess and slide the latch to open. They keep doors shut when you push them closed. A convenient alternative to cam and draw latches, they don't require you to turn a cam or pull a latch to close. They press into a cutout without tools, so they’re fast and easy to install. However, they only fit a cutout shape that matches the locking latch. Since they’re keyed alike, they’re good if you need several locks that open with the same key. They meet UL 94 V-0, so they’ll self-extinguish in the event of a fire.
